Amanda's personal history is unique in that she has experienced parental alienation as a child, later as an alienated parent and thankfully as a parent re-uniting with her children. In 2012 Amanda's children were abducted and thus began her fully immersive journey into parental alienation, what it was, how it was even possible in the modern age, and more importantly how to best be there for your children if they are going through it. After being devastated by an unjust Family Court ruling, In 2014 Amanda started a support group for alienated parents, now with more than 1000 active members. In 2015 Amanda founded the EMMM.org.au (Eeny Meeny Miney Mo Foundation), a not for profit health services charity advancing education in parental alienation.
As the founder the EMMM.org.au (Eeny Meeny Miney Mo Foundation) and Australian Parental Alienation Awareness Day (12 October #PAADay), Amanda is regularly consulted as an emerging expert in this field. Parental Alienating Behaviours are Child Abuse & Family Violence
This serious form of abuse and family violence can no longer be ignored. Parental alienating behaviours must be acknowledged in Australia as it is in other parts of the world. We need legislation that not only acknowledges its existence but firmly and clearly legislates against it.
