Amanda Sillars is the founder of the Eeny Meeny Miney Mo Foundation and a leading advocate for families affected by parent-child trauma, coercive attachment dynamics, and alienation. Her lived experience spans generations, alienated from her mother as a child, and later from her own children in adulthood. These deeply personal experiences, including the profound loss of her mother and the challenges she faced, have shaped Amanda’s lifelong commitment to this work. Her reunification with her children stands as a testament to resilience, informed action, and hope.
Amanda holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science (BPsycSc) and grounds her work in trauma-informed, attachment-based, and evidence-led practice. She is a trusted educator, speaker, and content creator who shares vital knowledge through social media, community education, and professional training. Amanda provides support, psychoeducation, and advocacy for families, practitioners, and policymakers.
Her work sheds light on the hidden patterns that harm children and fracture families, such as when children are pressured to take sides, made to carry an adult’s emotional burdens, or influenced to reject a loving parent. Amanda offers clear, practical strategies that prioritise child well-being, support safe family reconnection, and guide healing with empathy, insight, and integrity.
